Well, I have a cold and with all the hype about H1N1, I do not want to go out. (no fever, no aches and pains, just a cold) Even had to hand over the keys for the Sunday school bus to another driver.
Any way, I was wondering, what is a good place to hear a good sermon on a Sunday morning on line?
This is the first time in a couple of years I have found myself home on a Sunday morning.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well.
I think InTouch.org is a good place for a sermom. Charles Stanley is a very gift pastor.

Joel Osteen is a rather happy, nothing bad will happen to you type of guy. It was interesting that I have a cold and he would be preaching about how we must stop coming down with a cold and come down with a healing. How does one do that? Had I known I had a choice I would never have gone for the cold!

Praying for you, Tapestry, been through it recently myself. By the way, I have studied the symptoms of H1N1 and can't tell the difference between them and any other flu. It's apparently only a threat, if I'm correct, to the very young, the very old, or those with chronic health conditions. (Which makes me squeamish, since I'm diabetic.)

And as for Joel Osteen, I'm "meh" on him. I once wrote to him for guidance during a spiritual crisis, and never heard a word from him. Does the fact that I hadn't sent in a donation have anything to do with his lack of response?

My wife and I enjoy watching Redemption w/ Ron Carpenter. It is on about 0830 on the left coast, TBN. Sometimes the Winning Walk has good stuff. What I really like is when COGIC Today comes on or one of their televised ministries comes on. But then, I like some of that old time preaching with that Hammond B3 in the background doing the fills. Just my preference.
Just because were Christians doesn't mean we are not going to get sick some time or another. I can say that we do have an advocate with the Father. I don't know about your church but the elders in mine lay hands on the sick and they do recover.
