If your TV has a VGA input, you're going to get a lot better quality from that than you're going to get from S-Video. In theory it should be easier to get working as well, since VGA is primarily a computer connector. DVI would be better quality still. What make and model of television do you have? Have you tried updating your video card drivers? What are you using for a computer monitor, and what resolution are you running it at?

ORIGINAL: coconut_princess I do have VGA if it is what I'm thinking. Is that the one with the yellow, white and red connectors? The yellow connector is composite video, with an RCA connector, it's lesser quality compared to S-video. VGA (aka D-sub, HD-15, DE-15, etc.) is usually colored blue (if at all) and is trapezoidal and has 15 small pins. It's capable of much higher quality than composite or S-video, but isn't a common connector on televisions. It's mostly used for computer monitors, and sometimes on HDTVs. I don't have a computer with an nVidia card, so I can't search through menus, sorry. You might try setting your resolution to 1024x768 or 800x600 and seeing if that allows you to choose TV-out, because I think most S-video outputs are limited to those resolutions (and if they offered higher you wouldn't be able to make out text anyway)
