I wouldn't go to a cinema and see it. I doubt very much whether I'd bother watching it when it came out on tv.

I definitely want to see it int he theater, but will probably have to wait until the DVD.

MJ made some good, psoitive music and always put on a good show. Period.

Pluggedin.com has a good review by Adam Holz here:

I want to see it just because he was one of a kind and very talented. I don't think it is worth $8.50 to see it though. I'll wait until it is on dvd. If it is good I may buy the dvd just because he will forever be a legend in the music business.

I wasn't as surprised by his death as I thought I'd be. For some reason, I saw it coming. Lady Di's death shocked me much more than the king of pop's.

No interest to see it at the movies, when it come out on DVD, or if it is ever on T.V.

I never at any point in my life enjoyed his music or the "show" that he put on. I found him to be bizarre and crude (that whole crotch grabbing thing)...even when I was a teenager.

I have nothing against those that liked him and want to see the movie. I personally will NEVER! :)

It was really good. I don't want to give anything away just in case you see it, but this would have been the tour everyone would be talking about for a long time.

I just heard Geraldo say on FOX that the movie has made $100 million in 5 days.

Wow!

If somebody brought a dvd over, and every tv station was blacked out, and I couldn't pick up any radio stations, and there were no lights to read by, and I couldn't get to sleep, and somebody stole all my other dvd's and video tapes, then I'd sit in the quiet dark.

You mean you wouldn't go online?

My wife has a very good "people sense." In other words, she can read folks pretty easily (I think it's a gift, and it's saved us from grief more than once), and in her words, MJ "creeped her out." What's most interesting is she said that about him years before he started to freakishly change his appearance from a sexually-confused man into that of a alien-looking, plasticine woman.

All that to say, I agree with Uncabeeil.

No surprise really.

The movie was filmed and edited from a fan boy/fan girl point of view, advertised and sold as a limited run. His many fans flocked to the theatres to be a part of a bigger than life presentation of Michael Jackson lip-sync to pre-recorded vocals using the latest technology, to experience the stage spectacular might have been, watch MJ build up his stamina during the progressive dance practices, and listen to the inarticulate platitudes of our hero.

I saw it last night...the movie could have been titled "This Is It?"

Yes, Michael Jackson was my era -- 80's girl here.

We missed it in the theatres but I'm going to buy the DVD when it comes out in January, hopefully.

My sister wasn't going to see it and then decided to go. She said it was amazing and she said if that concert had actually happened, it would have been just as amazing. I can imagine the price of the tickets but I know some people will pay anything to see somebody, even if they can't buy food to eat or pay the rent. She says if I wanted to see it, she would go see it again and I know my sister was not a huge MJ fan at all, so that has to say something about this film. I am the one who has his records on vinyl and cassette, all bought before the controversy.

I've seen parts of it on ET as they were showing parts of it and interviewing Kenny Ortega and others and what I don't understand is how he was able to move like that with no sleep and all those drugs in his system? I'm not questioning the fact that he did all those drugs because I know he was an addict but to be able to look and move like that and not be looking like he was on drugs is amazing. I may actually go see it, but hopefully at a reduced price.

I wouldn't waste my time or money on a movie about a molestor and drug addict. The only thing I am sorry about for Michael Jackson is the way he was brought up and that he died. I would hope that he had the opportunity to repent and accept Christ before he died. Other than that - no I wouldn't waste my money on anything about him.
