Yep...one here. The last 3 were ok. The third on was probably the best of that group. The original 3 three were by far the best ones. As far more movies, Geroge has said "no...I am not making making anymore" There are those who want the first one rebooted by a different director, i.e., no George. Much like has been done with Star Trek.

I HEARD THAT THEYMIGHT MAKE A STAR WARS TV SHOW. Um, STAR WARS - THE CLONE WARS has been airing on Cartoon Network for over a year now. Not bad for a kids show, the CGI effects are quite impressive. And yes I prefer the original trilogy myself, and I mean ORIGINAL, not the horrendous Special Editions that were released in 1997. I did find REVENGE OF THE SITH a decent addition, but PHANTOM MENACE and ATTACK OF THE CLONES were just embarrassing...

Originally there was supposed to be episodes 7, 8 and 9. I would love to see Speilberg do a trilogy based on the New Jedi Order books, if Lucas keeps on refusing. They could get Alan Dean Foster to do the screenplay (he ghost wrote the novel for ep 4). His work in the Alien series shows he has the chopps to do it.

Well, I am a "true" Star Wars fan and I thoroughly enjoy all 6 main movies, both of the Ewok adventures, the Clone Wars microseries from Cartoon Network, the current animated Clone Wars cartoon, both Knights of the Old Republic games, and my extensive collection of the Miniatures game. I don't waste time comparing the Old Trilogy with the New. I enjoy the movies from each for different reasons, but they are all Star Wars goodness. And yes, I like Jar-Jar Binks. Can't wait for the Cantina Tales (or whatever the live action series will be called).

Since I've never understood who determines the rules for what a "true" fan is or is not of something... count me in with Manimal as a "true" fan of Star Wars. I have watched, enjoyed, and own the original trilogy, the new trilogy, and even the special editions. Is every part of them great? No. Do I enjoy them all? Yes. I also own the DVDs from the prior Cartoon Network Clone Wars cartoon, have been watching the new series on CN, have beat all 3 SNES games from the original trilogy...and thoroughly enjoyed getting 100% completion on the complete Lego saga with my Wii. :) But since I enjoyed the new trilogy, guess I'm just a "true" fan and not a true fan.

Big Time SW fan here. I love all 6 movies, and have read a great majority of the SW books. Movie ranking: Empire Strikes Back Return of the Jedi Revenge of the Sith A New Hope Attack of the Clones The Phantom Menace Although I think they broke the prequels in the wrong place. Episode 1 should have briefly touched on Annakin's childhood and dealt mainly with the story from AotC. Episode 2 should have basically been RotS. Episode 3 should have been a movie based on the Novel "Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader". Would have made much better movies. Fav. Books Labyrinth of Evil Episode 3 Dark Lord: Rise of Darth Vader Dark Empire Trilogy

anyone else touching this movie franchise is a slap in the face of the series. it should be stopped as isnt much left to do. the new jokes were just all explaining how Annakin turned only. and a side thing was how r2d2 and c3po came about along with the origion of the troopers. thats about all i saw besides letting me see natalie portman.

A long time agao. In a galaxy far far away............ My brother and I had quite a collection of Star Wars action figures back in the day - had a bunch of the comic books too. Loved all the movies - esp. Episodes III and VI.
