What about Steve Ladd.... Now that would be a pick.

Yeah, I like that thought too!

He's not bad - I haven't heard him enough to really have an opinion, I just know I like his sound with the DEB's.

Duh! I looked him up and I remember him from Tony Gore and Majesty. Why can't I remember names? Yeah, he would be good. My vote is still Steve Ladd.

I've ordered 'Jubilee' and 'Just Stand' and all the other CDs and DVDs available which I don't have, but it will take a little time for it to arrive. I very much look forward to receiving my parcel. I'm so glad you like 'Just Stand', RogerBennett_Fan. I love listening to Legacy Five sing. They're the best, as far as I'm concerned.

Hi there, Scott (and Legacy Five),

Thanks so much for letting us know about your blog, and for starting one. I guess we'll get to know you all better through your postings - I definitely shall, as I don't live in the US and have never met any of you. That will change sometime, God willing.

Thank you for your wonderful singing; for the spiritual depth of your songs; for freely talking about Jesus Christ and the impact He has had on the lives of all of the Legacy Five members; for the stirring and inspiring witness of all the Legacy Five members (including that of Roger); and for the godly example you have consistently set from Legacy Five's inception, and earlier when you, Scott, and Roger were part of The Cathedrals. I have been greatly blessed through all of the above, and consider Legacy Five to be the very best Southern Gospel group, and I don't believe that my opinion will ever change. May God bless Legacy Five and continue to fruitfully use you in your ministry. Every individual of the group is special in his own right.

A special word to Frank: I shall miss you terribly. It is not only your voice - it's also your sincerity, spontaneity, your warmth and friendliness, your deep love for Jesus Christ - these are the things I'll miss when you leave. The group has been complete with you. May God bless you in your next endeavour.

All the best!

Oh, and for those of you that haven't read it yet, L5 is having to put a new transmission in Sunny(their bus) and it's gonna cost them at least $11,000-$12,000 to fix it. All of us L5 fans should rally together and help them out in whatever way we can! Anyone who could help them out in any way, big or small, I know it would be greatly appreciated.
We also need to pray for them that the Lord helps provide them with the funds they need to get Sunny repaired.
They do so much for us, and I think it'd be great to be able to do something for them.
Here's a link to their blog where you can read more about it. http://legacyfive.wordpress.com/2009/10/22/help-needed/

I would suggest Brent Mitchell. Last Thursday night, Frank invited him up to sing "I Know A Man Who Can". He got a standing ovation. Brent says that was the very first time he had ever sang the song. Frank fed him the words. Sounds to me like Brent would be a great replacement if he wants the position.

I agree Brent would make a absolute awesome tenor for Legacy Five! If like you said he was interested Legacy Five would be wise to listen!!! I do know that Scott Fowler however will make the right choice for the betterment of Legacy Five!!! I am excited to see what the future holds!!!
