Well, this was not a good week for college football in WV. First, the Mountaineers get knocked on the butts by South Florida . . . again (GAG!! I hate saying that!). Then last night, the Herd blows a 20-7 lead and loses in the last minute 21-20. Nuts!

Oregon really just flat-out beat the dog snot out of UCS, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing! Texas looked awfully good, 'Bama didn't look great, even though they won. Florida keeps winning, unfortuantely. And Cincinnati just might make it through unbeaten, although they still have to play us. Boise State - well, they keep going and going. Iowa, now, is another story; their luck is gonna run out sooner or later, because they keep waiting until the 4th quarter to get moving sometimes, and you cannot keep doing that without paying a price.

The Horns looked great last Sat., but they've got to keep up the pace. Don't let up on or look pass anybody.

Still believe the Tide needs to split time between the spred and the good ole power I. Cram those backs down the gut and switch to the spread. McElroy has to look for others besides Julio. Don't think they're overated but the offense has got to produce.

I am proud of teams like TCU, Cincy. Sure the conferences may not be on the same teir as SEC, Big 12 Big 10 or even that conference out west, but at this spot of the year to be unbeaten deserves recognition. and Iowa, I think they impressed me last week. what a way to pull it through. I honestly had them lost then look again and what the, they turned it up a few notches.

I lost any respect for Urban Meyer after the eye incident. I mean come on, that is as obvious as can be.

on to good news, how about Ingram. Bama has a hoss there. 30 carries 10+ yards leads nation. front runner for Heisman as of this week. 5th in nation in rushing. all as a sophmore.

YeeeeHaaaw!

Hook'em Horns and Roll Tide Roll!!

What a game! Bama v LSU! Extremely physical! Course that's what we expect in the SEC.
I could get to see my two teams play each other yet! Not since the 82 Cotton Bowl.
the Horns have an easier road ahead, but the Tide could get tripped up before they meet Florida. Gators! I love fried Gator, especially Bama fried Gator.

The Alabama -LSU game was ruined by horrible officiating. What is really going on in the SEC?

Games all over the country this season have been ruined by terrible officiating; Big 10, Big East, SEC, ACC, Big 12, it doesn't matter. And it doesn't seem to have an end in sight - even the instant replay reviews stink to high heavens!

Overall I didn't think the calls were that bad. BUT, LSU did intercept the ball in those last few minutes, that was a bad call by the repaly official.

While I hope and believe it will Texas and Bama for the Natl Title, Florida would also make it interesting.
I don't think TCU will get a nod, but they certainly deserve some rightly due respect.

The Buckeyes are beating MI so much the game is losing it's thrill. I missed most of the other games this weekend.

It's shaping up to be very interesting.

Love to Rich Rodriguez get beat.

Anybody think Notre Dame will be getting a new coach?
I think Charlie is as good as gone.

Marshall did great this weekend, beating SMU to become provisionally bowl-eligible. That's the first time in the Mark Snyder era that they've won 6 games, so this has been a good sesaon. It's had it's moments (last-second losses, injuries, etc.), but overall I'm very pleased. Some people are calling for Mark's head on a platter, and are even going so far as to suggest that RichRod become the new head coach. If that happens, it'll be when a snowball lasts an hour in a blast furnace that I ever root for Marshall in football again!!

well the season is closing now with a week left then conf title games.

Who woulda thought USC would end the season as they have. I am pleased lol.

Florida and Bama 1 and 2.

Ingram the hands down fave for the Heisman. It is his award to lose.

TCU and Cincy with a week left in Top 5 and unbeaten.

Ga Tech the best 1 loss team in country.

Some surprises this year. some expected also.

As long as I remember Tim Biakabutuka running for 300 yards or so in 1995, I will never ever never NEVER grow bored of watching OSU beat MI.

And yet we still lost to UGA. Seriously, I know there were some injuries, but as a GT alumni, I was not happy. UGA wasn't even very good this year.

If Colt McCoy doesn't get the Heisman, there is a definate Anti-Texas "conspiracy".
I mean the guy comes in 2nd last year, then follows up with an undefeated regular season, becomes the winningest QB in colleg history, the #1 QB in UT history etc.. I mean really?! I love Ingram but Mccoy should get the award.

Roll Tide! Send TBow packing! Fried Gator! mmmmmmm Good!

Yes, Mark Snyder is history at Marshall. He 'resigned' yesterday, but I think it was a case of "Resign or be fired, Mark. Which ever helps you save face."

Notre Dame's giving Charlie Weis the boot, while the Bobby Bowden era in all likelihood is about to come to an end at Florida State.

Trouble at Florida. Urban Meyer will likely give him a slap on the wrist

Florida star DE Carlos Dunlap arrested on a charge of DUI
By Gentry Estes, Mobile Press-Register
December 01, 2009, 9:01AM

Carlos Dunlap is viewed by many as one of the top NFL prospects on Florida's team (AP photo). There was very bad news this morning at a very bad time for the Florida Gators.

Junior defensive end Carlos Dunlap, 20, was arrested this morning and charged with DUI, four days before his team is set to take on Alabama in the SEC championship game.

View this report from the Gainesville Sun and more from The New York Times and ESPN.com.

According to the Gainesville report, police found Dunlap asleep at the wheel. He reportedly refused to submit to a breath test and was booked into jail on a DUI charge.

Dunlap was the defensive MVP of last year's national championship game. He is currently tied for the team lead with seven sacks and does lead the Gators with six quarterback hurries.

A Florida spokesman said Tuesday morning that the program is aware of the incident, and no announcement is expected until this afternoon.

That's the number 1 reason I have always hated Fla teams...they house more criminals than the swamps have gator's.

As for the Heisman I don't think Colt deserves it over Ingram.

Bowden should have been fired not retired.
