The theo folders are scaaaaaary! I peek in once in a while, but always incognito. Same with political threads.

The brownies have almond flour instead of wheat flour (our front office girl has celiac, otherwise I have no problem grinding some wheatberries to use), raw organic chocolate powder, free range eggs, vanilla extract, aluminum-free baking powder, mineral sea salt, grapeseed oil, chopped dark chocolate, and espresso beans. They're very fudgy and rich. I'm going to whip some cream to top them off.

You own a business, don't you Lioness? I'd mark national boss's day REALLY big on the calendar at work today. Maybe post a wish list nearby.

Oh! Good idea!

I'm sure my employees are just dying to do something nice for me and were only waiting for an opportunity.

I'm going to be a little late paying my dues because I just found out that Kath needs more prayer than any of us realized......

Larry took me to Walmart the other day. I haven't been since before my surgery (Sept 10) so I was in withdrawals! I just had to go.

I had a very nice time.

Anyone who would say something like that definitely needs to check her coffee consumption.

Kath's been taking a lot of meds for her knee surgery. I'm feeling quite concerned for her.

ROFLOL!

Well, being the resident Walmart naysayer, I decided not to comment on her post (because anything I would say would just seem too predictable). But, Roberta and Cranky, I can certainly agree with y'all's posts.

Do you get these products at a health food store?

My blood pressure has been running low (100/65) due to medication for my head, so I start in Current Events to get it up.

It actually isn't too bad lately since certain people have either been banned or voluntarily quit posting.

Then I move to Morality and Ethics before coming to the more fun threads.

Now there's something you didn't hear Grandpa Jones say on Hee Haw.

I'd better remind my boss.

Both Spam and Walmart have been insulted on my corner this week.

Hi Kath, how ya feeling this cold morning?

It's not too cold today, it's up to 45*! Average this time of year is 60*.

I have to admit I am sitting in front of a space heater.

Kerr, I'm so ashamed of myself.

. . . ashamed that I only slammed Walmart and did not include Spam.

Saving this for a possible signature later.

Made it larger for those eyes of yours, I see. It's tough get old, ain't it?

Hmmm . . . well, I guess that if I don't have any coffee privileges, then I won't be able to buy (nor ship) Kona anymore.

Woe. Woe. Woe.

Oh well. There's always peppermint tea.

Right, because nobody buys it.

We have already established in another thread that coffee is more important than family.

ROFLOL!!!

It took me a fraction of a second to get that.

You are so bad.

Some people don't have families, and here you are making fun of them.
Pour me another cup of coffee.

Decaf, please.

I'm betting you get a special dispensation from Kerr due to your mutual Spam affection.

I stay safe by not saying anything about either one.

I don't know about y'all, but this cracked me up . . . kinda came out of the middle of nowhere; and even though the two posts aren't related, they are posted back-to-back to each other . . . and these two posts were the first two I read upon returning to The Corner.

To celebrate treating our 1000th patient, we held our staff meeting at Double Shot. Very cool coffee house---roast their own, etc. I had a large latte. After drinking about half of it, I learned................

...........it contains 4 shots of espresso.

I have to get up very early tomorrow. Will you call me at 4:00 a.m., EST, since I'm sure that you will still be up?
