Just read the 2 first books of a trilogy by Suzzanne Collins, The Hunger Games and Catching Fire.

They're for young adult ladies, but even my hubby and I really like them. Nothing beyond kissing, no drugs, some drinking (not portrayed positively) but a lot of violence. The heroine is basically in a fight for her life. Good moral dilemmas, and a very good book for parent and teen to read together and discuss.

I just started reading the Left Behind series. Never read it before. I'm halfway through the second book now. I know that it's somewhat unpopular with some people on the board, but I'm enjoying it!

I totally love these books. Some of the coolest fiction I have read. Even if the theology is a little off, they are still some awesome books.
I have read them, listened to the abridged audio version, the unabridged audio version and the Dramatic Audio version!!!!

I've seen a lot of positive reviews on those, and was wondering if they were as good as I've heard. Also nice to hear that while they were targeted towards YA, they have a larger potential audience.
