A prayer request for a family who's 2 year old son has drowned. Please pray for these parents and grandparents of this little boy. He was spending the day with his grandmother.
Lord, help them and hold them in Your arms tonight.

Heavenly father you are ever near the broken hearted. I ask that you provide comfort for this family and especially for the Grandmother. Please set her free from the guilt she must be feeling.

Father, please continue to hold this family close to you. Help them in the days and weeks ahead with all the emotions they must be feeling. Touch this grandmother in such a way that she is not overwhelmed in guilt. Let this tragedy not be a reason for division within this family. May they lean on one another for comfort. Also, I pray they lean on You. In the name of our Lord Jesus, I pray.

Father, please continue to help this family bear such a loss. Carry them through these days and weeks ahead. Be their refuge as they face their lives without their little boy. Father, tragedys such as this are just too hard to comprehend even for those of us not close to the situation. Please help these parents see that there is purpose beyond their understanding. Heal them of this devasting hurt. Give them peace and joy.
