I would like to see Jay Parrack, Jonathan Wilburn, Jonathan Sawrie, and Glen Mcdonald back with quartets. Those four would make a great quartet.

Yes indeed! Jonathan Sawrie, and I'd love to see Jeremy Raines too. Gene McDonald ought to come back too, and Alan Cox (The Florida Boys)

I did a quick vocal backup session last night for Homeland, and Gene McDonald was there too. He still sounds amazing. Gene is also one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Jonathan Sawrie is a long time favorite of mine and I would love to see him singing full time again. Jonathan works for the Corp of Engineers and has a great job, unfortunately I don't see him giving that up anytime soon, but still, it would be great. Jonathan Wilburn is one of the most energetic lead singers ever to sing in a gospel quartet, and he would likewise be good to see again, and something tells me that might actually happen. I know nothing at all....just a gut feeling. Maybe wishful thinking????

Aaron McCune has one of the best bass voices ever, so I hate to see him out of service. Tim Riley is back now, but he would have been at the top of my list if not for the recent changes. Jay Parrack and Jonathan Wilburn without a doubt!!! Would love to see them back together. Steve Ladd singing southern gospel again...with a quartet!!!

I would like to see Tony Jarman back with an established quartet. I miss Eric Phillips, too.

It would seem that the return of some of my favorite SGM singers to full time might become a reality. Sepcifically, the formation of Archie Watkins and the Smokey Mountain Reunion. These guys have always been some of my favorites. This is not to take anything away from the Inspirations as I still think the world of them.

Jason Waldrup Kerry Beatty Gene MacDonald Andrew Ishee I'd like to see John Rulapaugh in a more prominent group. I'm not sure where Rick Fair is. I'd like to hear more from him. He has an excellent voice.

I especially like when he sings the Squire Parsons song, "We Shall be Like Him." Luckily I have a DVD with that on it, because I doubt I'll ever make it to Pigeon Forge.

Great question! I would love to see Jonathan Wilburn, Frank Seamans and Steve Ladd get back on the road full time. SGM isn't the same without these guys!

Tony Peace, Loren Harris with a better group (never should have left the Perrys!) and far too many great gospel singers and musicians are wasting their time in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I mean, come one, Clayton Inman and Jeff Stice doing and afternoon stage show? These guys need to be back full time.

Tony is a great talent, and Loren has a good voice.

I don't blame them for wanting to make a more stable life for themselves and their families.

Burman Porter (surely hope that's the right of it - former/original bass for the Dove Brothers) - he was one of my all-time fav. basses! As for Jonathan Wilburn, didn't I hear that he was doing a few local dates with his son? I remember our first times at NQC (about 10-12 yrs ago) when Grandma and Grandpa Wilburn brought Jonathan's son out - he could really sing !!!

Tony Peace is singing baritone for us, Southern Sound Quartet, and hopefully will be doing the emcee work too if we can talk him into it!!!! He emceed our last night in Florida last weekend and it was really good. I would gladly give up that position.
