I am very sorry to hear about your situation Desert_Rose!

Hey Everyone, I had a kinda rough Saturday night and morning. I am doing better now though. I did a search online on noise sensitivity, apparently other people suffer from it too and it even has an official name.

Rain sounds like a cute name for a kitten.

The kitten pictured in my avatar started off as the world's cutest kitten, now he's the world's most annoying (yet still wonderful) cat ... Fuzzball.

Same signature line.
Same kitty avatar.
New screen name.
It's still me!

Hi and ((((((HUGS)))))) to everybody!

desert-rose, Maggie, Mollymouser, Melissa w/o cat, Mike, Roberta, and everyone else, I'm keeping you all in my prayers.

I don't have much time to post, but so far I'm feeling up and down mental health wise. Right now, I'm here posting because some of my relatives are visiting, who have bratty kids that I cannot stand to be around. This stresses me out, so other than a polite hello, I disappeared to post here, where it's peaceful and I can listen to calming music.

I've been very physically weak today. Had to be given water by spoon this morning but I'm happy and doing a bit better. Hugs to all of you who are struggling.

Hello to everyone.

My niece left Saturday evening after 9:00 PM. We had a good visit and I'm glad she came.

I'm totally exhausted though. Too many extremely late nights, just sitting up talking, but that's OK. It's what she seemed to need.

Desert_rose - I'm sorry to hear all that you're going through right now. I pray God's protection over you.

Maggie, get as must rest as you can. The Lord gave you great strength for this last week. But I suspect your body is a little mad at you right now. Get lots of rest and let you friends do the work. You are blessed to have them.

This is the ONE place - as far as I know - that I post with any regularity, that's open to the public, where I HAVE NOT had any trouble with him. But there have been several instances where I've been chased from Site A with one username connected to one email to Site B and a new username and a whole new email only to have him find me in under three days. I report it, leave, and within a week he's found me at Site C - with me using ANOTHER username and ANOTHER whole new email. Which is why the City Attorney's office suspects he may be monitoring my internet connection. Though if he is, even my ISP can't figure out how he's doing it - but they do agree it sounds like he is or easily could be.

Ugh. Court all day tomorrow. This had BETTER settle it. I am *so* tired of dealing with him.

And thank you all for your prayers and everything. They're deeply appreciated.

(((Maggie)))) Yes-please take care of yourself, and let those around you take care of you.

Edith/Bountiful, you have been missed here.

I hope that as much as can be resolved is resolved in court today.

I haven't heard from my mom since I finally got to talk to her on her birthday. I found out something about her life lately today. Last May she took custody of a 15 year old boy. She is in the process of adopting him. I'm certainly not shocked that she didn't tell any of her children. I'm not sure why, I'm very upset over this.

Desert-rose, wondering how your day in court went today. Hope you're holding up.

Thanks, Elizabeth. How are you doing?

Roberta, I can certainly understand your hurt. I don't know why the people who are supposed to be closest to us so ofen hurt us the most. To try to avoid that, I lower my expectations of others. I suppose that's a very jaded way to look at things.

Bountiful, it's not jaded, it's *sensible* and *realistic*. It releases us from trying to make others come through for us and meet our needs (when really only God can meet our needs), releases us from disappointment. It also releases other people to be who they are, not who we want them to be.

IMO it's a good boundary to learn and have in place.

You're right. I just guess I didn't think it would be expecting too much of her to inform her children that she was adopting a teenager. Especially since she's had six months to get the news out. Then again, this is my mother I'm talking about. I guess it's just bizarre how I found out.

You right, Manda. Thanks for the encouragement.

Roberta, it sounds like your Mom likes to get a "reaction" out of people. Being secretive and then making "big" announcements is one way to do that.

I can understand your surprise. It's not something one would expect.

How is everyone? I'm feeling kind of blah today. Had plans to go have some blood tests done today, but had such trouble getting out of bed I decided against it.

Oh well, as the Bible says so often "it came to pass" so guess I'll wait until it passes.

I don't think she knows yet that I know about the adoption plans. I only found out because my step-mom told me that my mom called there and hit my dad up for money.

I think I've figured out what has me the most upset about the whole thing, besides the secrecy. I just have to figure out how to work through it.

((((Edith)))) I hope you get to feeling "unblah" enough so that you can get the things done that you need to do soon.

Good morning, everybody. Hope you are well.
I'd like to speak to the sisters who tried reassuring me last week that I should feel "honored" for the dead "gifts" this cat is presenting me with lately. Well, I don't feel honored yet. More like, nausiated... Walked outside and kitty is on the porch. Crunching. I was kinda scared to turn the porch light on, honestly. It was a mouse, BIG mouse. Thankfully, a dead mouse. Now, unless I let her eat this humongous victim of hers, I gotta go pick it up and remove it. UGH! I wish I had of seen it BEFORE I drank my coffee this morning!!!!!

I slept well last night but I'm very, very tired. I leave for my doctor's shortly. Maybe I'll come home to nap when I'm done.

God musta felt sorry for me this morning after I "whined" about having to dispose of the rat. I betcha it wasn't five minutes after I posted I hear a knock on my door. It was my cousin with her brand new puppy. She says, you have a dead rat on your porch. Hurry and give me something to pick it up with before my puppy wants to eat it... I smiled inside myself, said a quiet Thank You, Lord under my breath and handed her the whole roll of paper towels . Whew! ....
Maggie, so good to see you posting. Please let us know how your doctors appt. went. Is this the appt. with your son's doctor that you wrote about? You and your family remains in my prayers.
How is everyone else? Roberta, I sure hope you are not as anxious as yesterday. I pray God will bless each of you. You all mean alot to me. Love, melissa, not really catless but may soon be if she doesnt stop her nonsense....

My eyes deceived me, manda. What looked like was a mouse was just one third of it. Put all the peices together and it was a rat! Not some tiny little field mouse, this thing was the DADDY of all mice! It was plum scary! I am still not speaking to the cat, either!
